Medical Benefits of Agent Orange

This strains short-term effects and clear-headed buzz make it a great option for medical marijuana patients looking for a daytime option.

  • Those who suffer from migraines or even fatigue can find some relief thanks to this weed strain

Sativa Dominant Hybrid –75% Sativa / 25% Indica
THC: 16-19%
Combine Orange Skunk with Jack’s Cleaner and Space Queen, and you get Agent Orange – no, not the Vietnam-era pesticide, but rather the medical marijuana strain. A sativa-dominant hybrid with a 75:25 sativa/indica ratio, Agent Orange produces an uplifting cerebral high ideal for depression, anxiety, and migraines. It can be useful in treating minor aches and pains, but it isn’t recommended for treatment of chronic pain. The high starts to descend after just half an hour, making this a good strain for daytime activities and house chores. Agent Orange smells like citrus, naturally, and it tastes like sweet and spicy oranges, while the bud has a deep purple appearance. There are few adverse effects, though the dry mouth is possible. Agent Orange, despite its name and the massive military mistake associated with it, is popular across the United States, but especially in Michigan and the Pacific Northwest. It’s a very effective medication for many people. Agent Orange is a fun choice for everyday living that medicates without overpowering.

Agent Orange Experience

Expect to feel uplifted, motivated, and mellow after a few puffs of this strain. A truly balanced hybrid, Agent Orange is great for body and mind. Those with headaches or minor pains will enjoy this happy herb. Marijuana enthusiasts looking for a daytime option will enjoy the relatively brief high this strain offers, usually somewhere between 20 to 40 minutes. A pleasant body stone accompanies the head buzz, but not enough to incapacitate most marijuana consumers.

Traits of Agent Orange and Agent Orange Seeds

There are two varieties of Agent Orange available. First is the Hybrid cross between Orange Velvet and Jack The Ripper. The second is bred by TGA Subcool Seeds. The TGA Subcool version is a cross between Orange Skunk, Jack’s Cleaner, and Space Queen. Both types are known for their unique aroma.

As the name might suggest, this strain has an unmistakable orange scent. Seeds from this strain tend to produce two dominant phenotypes, one being slightly stickier and taller than the other. Flavorwise, both phenotypes combine the titular orange with a sharp cheese flavor that sticks to the tongue, along with a slightly herbal aftertaste.

(6/10) A nice solid bud structure, above average trichome count, but a bit too moist (not wet but not quite dry enough for top-notch medicine).

Aroma: (9/10) Like holiday spiced oranges (the ones with the red sticks in them). This was a very strong and pleasant scent, one of the best we’ve had recently.
Taste: (6/10) A mild smoke, not harsh with a charred orange peel flavor.
Effects: A real strong starter, this one sent me on a spacey scatterbrained ride with a loss of mental and auditory focus. A solid mix of Indica and Sativa. I experienced a fun comfortable influx and outflow of pressure on my head (a sort of Wah Wah effect), followed by an energetic silliness and overall good feeling. The second half was much different, scattered thoughts and forgetfulness remained but with a more somber and relaxed feeling taking prevalence.
Duration: Medium. 1.5 — 2 hours
Medicinal Use: (We are NOT doctors — personal opinion ONLY) Noticeable pain relief for both back and limbs also one for antisocial aliments and relaxation (a rare combo to find in our reviews).
Overall: From looks to smell the Agent Orange was one of the more impressive strains I have come across and I was very excited to review it. I was impressed with the initial detached, uplifting feeling and even welcomed the Indica finish. Most patients will want to have a more potent and longer lasting strain on hand for tough days, but this is a great mix it up strain with plenty of positive characteristics

Agent Orange: Don’t let the name scare you! The only herbicidal warfare Agent Orange will wage is between the excellence of this strain’s flavors and uplifting effects. A well-balanced hybrid that combines the smooth Orange Velvet with the bold Jack the Ripper, Agent Orange will capture your senses. Wonderful smells of oranges and fresh-cut citrus fruit will entice you immediately, while the pigments of deep maroon and purple will make this bud stand out in a sea of green. The effects are uplifting and motivating, serving as a great mood enhancer if you are feeling lethargic or depressed.
